Training-Firefighter:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicant must have
reached 18th
birthday
- Firefighter 1
- Haz-Mat Awareness
& Operational
- Blood-Borne
Pathogens Training
- Medical Response
Technician
- Must pass Fire Dept.
physical exam
- Must attend 24
hours training
annually in not less
than 10 drills.

Please pick up a paper application at Central Fire Headquaters, 75 Masonic Ave., or at Company 5, 143 Hope Hill Road. Completed applications can be dropped off at either station.
Training-EMS-Only:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicant must have

- CT Certified Medical
Response Technician,
EMT-Basic, Paramedic.
- Haz-Mat Awareness
- Blood Borne
Pathogens Training
- Valid CT Driver's
License
- Must pass Fire Dept.
